Just Say Sorry

Written by Elton John and Bernie Taupin, "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word" was recorded by Elton John and released in 1976, both as a single and as part of the Blue Moves album. The song is a mournful ballad about a romantic relationship which is falling apart.

Yes, sorry REALLY seems to be the hardest word for some people who cannot see how they have hurt others or this country by their droning negative statements that harp on the same thing repetitiously,

I beg to differ. Sorry ISN'T the Hardest word.

Dealing with Machiavellian characters is difficult.

Just say sorry for making the wrong conclusion based on unreliable evidence.

Just say sorry for insisting that things be done your way, even though people have been dancing to your tune, your way.

Just say sorry for torturing us with the same questions even though answers have either been given or will be given in time.

Just say sorry for wrongly saying the government has not clarified.

Just say sorry for not recognizing being in possession of or having knowledge of stolen emails is a form of cyber crime.

Just say sorry for accusing the government of borrowing 42 billion ringgit to invest in shady businesses. Say sorry for such a grave insult to those you referred to.

Just say sorry that what you did for over two decades made many shudder in a blanket of fear that gripped this nation.

Say sorry to the current government who has given you and others so much freedom to voice your opinion that you have really forgotten what it was like before.

Just say sorry for damaging the education institution and don't forget to say sorry for the impact that you created on the Malaysian Judiciary and also the doctrine of separation of powers.

And if you still cannot say sorry, then perhaps you might want to sing along with Elton John in this video of "Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word".

Who knows, you might have a new career in entertainment!
