The lack of Malay participation and unsuccessful rallies in East Malaysia actually showed the Government to be steps ahead of the opposition

The 29 and 30 August of 2015 saw a big street rally in Kuala Lumpur city. Bersih organisers claim that about 500,000 people participated in the 34 hour rally. Pro-opposition media called it a huge success while pro-government media deemed it a failure.

So, was it really a success?

First of all, the objective of the street gathering itself was unclear. Was it a gathering to call for clean and fair elections? Clean government? Or was the rally held to call for Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s resignation? Pro-Opposition supporters would say all of the above.

Some people would say the objective does not matter. The point is, however, that allegedly half a million people gathered on the streets of KL to protest against the government. Is that really true?

Pictures circulating around the web showed that some participants had gathered to propagate gay rights and others for Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s release from prison. The Opposition used it as a vehicle to spread their propaganda. While the public applauded the presence of Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, it is equally important to note that Mahathir himself said he was not there to support Bersih or street rallies. Neither was he there to topple the government. You will note that he did not wear a yellow top. He specifically said he went there to join in the voices asking for Najib’s resignation. That means Mahathir appeared to further his own personal vendetta against Najib, not for anything else. He does not support Bersih nor does he condone the idea of toppling the Barisan Nasional government.

All this simply means not everybody who gathered there came together for a common cause. This in itself is a dent in the supposed success of the rally.

How does the rally attendance stack up against the population?

Klang Valley is reported to have a population of more than 7 million people. If we accept that the attendance was 500,000 as reported, participation in Bersih 4 still comes up to less than 10% of the population of Klang Valley.

So what about the remaining 90 plus percent?

It is also important to note that of those who attended, not everyone was from Klang Valley. The rally attracted representatives from all over Peninsular Malaysia. How many percent of the residents of Klang Valley participated in the protest against the government?

With such low numbers, why should the demands of Bersih be met?

The majority of the participants were ethnic Chinese. Compare this with the first Bersih rally where about 70-80% of the participants were Malays. The number of Malays who participated in subsequent Bersih rallies has continued to decline and this time it was the least. Does this mean that support for the BN among the Malays is increasing slowly? Interestingly during the Merdeka weekend, Port Dickson attracted more Malay visitors than did the Bersih rally in KL. Even the Ops Blackout in 2013 had significantly more Malay support than this edition of Bersih.

This brings us back to the earlier question. Why should the government address Bersih’s demands?

What about Bersih in other states?

If you recall at the initial press conference of Bersih, the organiser mentioned that three locations were the focus of Bersih this time around – Kuala Lumpur, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu. However, during the entire course of the rally and the post-event, nothing much was reported about the status of the rally in Sabah and Sarawak.

There was a reason for this. We all know that East Malaysia has been BN’s backbone and the Opposition coalition has been targeting that part of Malaysia for the longest time. As such, the rally was meant to highlight the uproar in Sabah and Sarawak against the government and strike fear in BN. Was the objective met?

In Sarawak only about 1000-1500 people attended the rally held in the Song Kheng Hai ground. This despite the Chief Minister of Sarawak giving the green light for the gathering and despite the fact that the Member of Parliament for Kuching is a representative of the DAP. Sabah had a similar scenario and also a poor turnout. The gatherings in the East Malaysia locations did not even last 24 hours. People came in stages, spent some time and went back home. This clearly shows that Bersih was rejected outright in East Malaysia.

After the Bersih rally, Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan and Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz mocked the entire event. Although netizens ridiculed and condemned them for making such statements, deep within the BN they were celebrating the failure of Bersih. What set out to strike fear and unrest within BN did not materialize. BN had the last laugh.

The final outcome of Bersih 4.0 showed us how many steps ahead the government is compared to the Opposition. While the Opposition slams the government for racial division, it was Bersih and the Opposition who fell into their own trap and caused a racial split. More such street rallies will further widen the split between races. Is it any wonder that BN representatives are requesting that Bersih be an annual event!

The average Malay still does not trust DAP and will not allow DAP to take the driver’s seat, Datuk Seri Ti Lian Ker said.



The MCA central committee member claimed when DAP “took over” Bersih 4, it was more or less a clarion call for the Malays to band together.

“When DAP abuses Pas president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang and is seen to be behind the breakaway group led by Mat Sabu, DAP basically alienates whatever PAS support or goodwill,” he told The Rakyat Post.

He noted Bersih 4 was also filled with DAP like antics, including the involvement of churches in Bersih 4 , the stepping on Hadi’s photo, burning hell notes at mock altars for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor.

Prior to the mammoth rally last week, three Catholic Church opened its doors for sanctuary.  Kuala Lumpur Archbishop Julian Leow Beng Kim, however, insisted the church was not aligned to any political party.

“This will eventually prove to be their undoing and cause further damage to our race and religious goodwill in Malaysia.”

He said history will show once again the political follies of DAP, as the power of public popularity goes into their head.

“The last time this happened was in 1969,” he added, alluding to the period which also saw the May 13 race riots.

Childish. That's at best to describe Bersih's attitude when it comes to its reluctance to pay the clean up bill and their subsequent mocking about the wrong address for service.

Bersih insisted they would clean up their mess before leaving the venue of demonstration. That's a lie. I have photos showing Bersih's heaps of rubbish and the clean up job done by Alam Flora's personnel.

Not only Bersih failed to clean up after their mess, they also failed to prevent their supporters from urinating everywhere, showing their disregard for public cleanliness and decency. I had to instruct Alam Flora to double up their effort to clean up the urine stench to avoid ruining the comfort of Malaysians who went to Merdeka parade the next day.

To add to their childish and imbecilic antic, Bersih now made fun of the wrong address incident when my officer tried to deliver the clean up bill.

The address of Bersih 2.0 as stated in the official Facebook is 13, Lorong 4/48e, Petaling Jaya.

My officers went to the right location, but unfortunately since Bersih 2.0 did not put up any signage indicating which house was their office, my officers mistakenly took the house which was immediately next to Bersih 2.0 office as the address (refer to the attached photo).

The mistake could have happened to anyone. It was an honest and simple mistake and my officer had explained the error in his twitter account on the day it happened. The wrong house is not on different road or other part of Petaling Jaya. It is the house immediately to the right of Bersih's office.

After realizing the mistake, my officers went again and this time they went to the correct house. To their dismay, even the correct house looked deserted! No one was around to receive the bill.

Rest assured that I won't be intimated by Bersih 2.0's antic and jokes. The clean up bill must and will be delivered to them. And they must pay up especially when Maria Chin said they collected RM2.4 million of public money to help organize and manage the illegal demonstration. I am very sure the RM65,000 bill won't cause a dent to Bersih's massive and millions of funding and their continued refusal to pay only shows they have taken the donors for a ride.

So what's next then?

If Bersih refuses to pay, next time Bersih holds another illegal demonstration in Kuala Lumpur, perhaps I should dump the rubbish in front of their office. That time, I can guarantee Bersih that I will send the rubbish to the correct address!

I have no intention of being politically correct when I say that it is obvious that this undeniably Chinese funded and organised demonstration had chosen carefully the dates to flex their muscles and to show their complete and utter disdain for an event of great emotional and spiritual significance for millions of Malays.

I MAKE no apologies for some plain-speaking on this Merdeka Day. I write today more in sorrow than anger, fully mindful that my views will be taken amiss. I am not beholden to anyone and to me, as a citizen of this, the country that I love and cherish, Malaysia’s interests come above all other considerations.

No one can deny us the exercise of our rights as enshrined in our Constitution. These are inalienable rights enjoyed by every member of a democratic society. However, nowhere in the world are these rights absolute. For the greater good of society, they have to be regulated.

The rights that we enjoy as citizens of a country are guaranteed by law, but they come with certain obligations or responsibilities that we are expected to fulfil in return. In our society, regrettably, there has developed an attitude of mind that seems to view human rights as rights without any obligation to reciprocate on our part. That is a serious fallacy because in the enjoyment of our rights, we have an obligation not to trample on the rights, or intrude into the privacy, of others.

Organisers of Bersih 4 were well within their rights to take to the street to protest against real or imagined grievances, but for the sake of good order, they were obliged to be guided by, and to obey the legitimate orders of the police who have a duty to protect the rights of others not participating in the demonstration. The Bersih 4 demonstration was declared illegal by the police because their permission had not been obtained as required by law. Bersih had decided to take the law into its own hands. This declaration by the police that Bersih had acted illegally really had nothing to do with perceived human rights violations on their part, but merely to ensure that the demonstration routes were agreed beforehand in order to avoid causing disruption and unnecessary inconvenience to members of the community going about their normal business.

Then, there was the question of the final destination. Why the insistence on Dataran Merdeka, where preparations for the Merdeka celebrations were known to be under way? Several stadiums and other venues were offered by the authorities but were rejected. The reason for demanding that they be allowed to form up on the historic Selangor Club Padang, now renamed Dataran Merdeka, was obviously to draw maximum international media attention, and to cause acute embarrassment to the government in the week in which rehearsals for the Merdeka parade were being held daily. Al Jazeera, the cable news network, smelling blood, was back in town to broadcast to the world in its usual over the top breathless fashion that at least 80,000 demonstrators were on the streets of the Malaysian capital who were angered by the theft of huge sums of money by the prime minister, not even bothering to use the word “alleged”. The electoral process and the state of the economy were proffered as justification for people taking to the streets. That the actual number was closer to 25,000 than the figure they had been tossing about repeatedly was neither here nor there.

The world was no doubt enthralled by the prospect of Malaysia joining the ranks of dysfunctional states. If they were expecting an Arab Spring east of Suez, they were sorely disappointed. That was the main purpose of Bersih wanting to gather at Dataran Merdeka, even if it meant breaking the law. In this diabolical endeavour, Bersih had the open support of opposition, especially DAP lawmakers, who, as we have often seen, are happy not only to break the law themselves but worse, in my view, to encourage and instigate ordinary men and women to do the same, as was the case with Bersih 1.

I have no intention of being politically correct when I say that it is obvious that this undeniably Chinese funded and organised demonstration had chosen carefully the dates to flex their muscles and to show their complete and utter disdain for an event of great emotional and spiritual significance for millions of Malays. That the Chinese have never identified with Merdeka through our 58 years of independence is not in dispute. That is their right, but this provocative and racially insensitive act is arrogant by any reckoning and something which I will long remember as a deliberate challenge to Malay sentiments and sensitivities. I am not a racist: my record in fighting against any form of discrimination against non-Malays in employment and in the award of scholarships speaks for itself. I put great store by Sino-Malay unity as a basis for nation-building and I am saddened by the reckless decision to sacrifice the prospect for sustainable long-term racial accommodation for immediate political gratification. Nation-building is a long and tedious process.

Bersih, under Ambiga Sreenevasan, set out with an agenda for free and fair elections. I supported it as long as it operated within the law. Ambiga was unable to control events once the opposition’s political heavyweights muscled their way into the act. What should have been a non-partisan movement had been turned into an opposition tool. Today, Bersih 4 has completely dropped any pretence of fighting for free and fair elections. It has allowed itself to become pawns in a high-stakes political game of chess played by dark forces with deep pockets to promote a hidden agenda; using illegal street demonstrations to bring down a legally elected head of government. Maria Chin Abdullah must know what she is doing, and I hope she will be able and prepared to deal with the consequences of her actions. She is already, by all accounts, out of her depth.

Given Bersih’s vastly changed complexion, and bearing in mind the threat posed by its activities to public order and security, and inter-racial harmony, no less, the government must re-examine Bersih’s legitimacy from the standpoint of the law. While it is the duty of the government to respect human rights provisions under the law, it cannot neglect its duty to protect the country from subversion by forces using democracy as a cover for their activities against the state. Bersih has made its intentions absolutely clear — bringing down the Najib administration by resorting to illegal means in the name of democratic rights.

Bersih can do its damnedest to dishonour Merdeka, but Malays up and down the country will celebrate the 58th anniversary of Merdeka, as they have celebrated all other Merdeka days, with joy and pride: confident in the knowledge that but for the courage, sacrifice and fortitude of their people in those dangerous and trying days of Chinese-led insurgencies, when the future of Tanah Melayu hung in the balance, there would have been no Merdeka to commemorate on Aug 31 each year.

Foreigners with deep political insight have reported at length about the real reason why the Bersih movement exists and its links with Anwar and the American agenda for Malaysia.



Bersih 2.0 claims to be ‘The Coalition for Clean and Fair Elections’. An amalgamation of non-political civil society organizations, Bersih exudes pseudo neutrality.

Really?

When the status quo branded Bersih gatherings as illegal, it was primarily because the authorities were  well aware of how this cleverly disguised organization was in fact, a proxy for Anwar and his American links to manipulate anti-establishment sentiments.

It is an open fact that Bersih 2.0 chairperson Ambiga Sreenevasan has admitted to Malaysian Press that two US-based organizations, the National Democratic Institute (which receives funding from the US National Endowment for Democracy) and George Soros’s Open Society Institute donated an undisclosed amount of money to the organisation.

These American think tanks and CIA front groups based in the United States are synonymous for planning US Foreign Policy and influencing popular attitudes towards foreign leaders.

By directly funding organizations such as Bersih, they trigger revolutions after which pro-US leaders are established.

Russian news website Life News has published emails it claims show correspondence between the US State Dept. and the Russian election watchdog Golos discussing payments for work done to discredit the results of Russia’s parliamentary vote.

Life News says it has come into the possession of 60 megabytes of Golos' private online correspondence. According to Life News, they are letters sent and received by Golos Executive Chief Lilya Shibanova and her deputy Grigory Melkonyants. Judging by the documents published on the site, the group which claimed to be independent was actually funded in order to defend the interests of US State Department.

Image from Lifenews.ru (click to enlarge)USAID has a clear goal of supporting the US foreign policy and is not making secret of that, while Golos has been proclaiming its “independent monitoring of the election and defense of voters' rights.”
And judging by the letters in question, there seems to be a certain “price” Golos paid activists for any report on election violations. Here is a letter by activist Andrey Suvorov to Melkonyants:
“Hello,I just wanted to discuss the conditions of our work once again.Like we have defined it, it is piece-rated. What will be the sum for one full appeal based on a violation report?What will be the sum for the detected incorrect report about a violation?Waiting for your answer.If necessary, I will come up with my suggestions.Best regards, Andrey.” 
Shibanova explained the letters discussing rates for violations reports by the fact that Suvorov is a lawyer who really was "piece-paid” for checking such messages. She also told Life News, “this correspondence was attained illegally." 
“It was withdrawn from the mailbox of my deputy, Grigory Melkonyants; he often sent emails from his account by my orders. Cracking a mailbox is unlawful, and we will apply to the court,” she said.

Arab States

Even as the United States poured billions of dollars into foreign military programs and anti-terrorism campaigns, a small core of American government-financed organizations were promoting democracy in authoritarian Arab states. 
The money spent on these programs was minute compared with efforts led by the Pentagon. But as American officials and others look back at the uprisings of the Arab Spring, they are seeing that the United States’ democracy-building campaigns played a bigger role in fomenting protests than was previously known, with key leaders of the movements having been trained by the Americans in campaigning, organizing through new media tools and monitoring elections. 
A number of the groups and individuals directly involved in the revolts and reforms sweeping the region, including the April 6 Youth Movement in Egypt, the Bahrain Center for Human Rights and grass-roots activists like Entsar Qadhi, a youth leader in Yemen, received training and financing from groups like the International Republican Institute, the National Democratic Institute and Freedom House, a nonprofit human rights organization based in Washington, according to interviews in recent weeks and American diplomatic cables obtained by WikiLeaks."
Freedom House has also provided funds for Bersih.

Receiving support from such alliances points in the direction of subversion. The US does this for many countries.

Latin America
In another article, Russia Today (tinyurl.com/nq92jrn) said:
Washington’s formula for regime change underwent a makover in the 1980s. In a bid to ensure US political and economic interests were safeguarded, CIA backed coup d’états ousted democratically elected leaders from Iran to Chile. 
In their place were brutal dictatorships and governments that committed heinous crimes against their people. 
By the 1980s, the reign of terror that blazed across Latin America was too much for most people to stomach. From death squads to torture chambers and various massacres, the Latin American generals who trained in the US to spread democracy around the world quickly gained reputations for major human rights abuses. 

To replace the overt support for dictatorships, a new concept for regime change was born; one that sounds and looks better – democracy promotion. 

The concept of democracy promotion is simple; finance, train, and politically back local opposition forces around the world that support the American agenda.
Dr. William Robinson is one of the foremost experts on Washington’s democracy promotion initiatives, he wrote the book ‘Promoting Polyarhcy.’
“In Latin America, in Eastern Europe with the Velvet Revolutions, in Africa, in the Middle East, really all over the world, the U.S. set up these different mechanisms now for penetrating these civil societies in the political systems of countries that are going to be intervened and to assure the outcome is going to be pleasing to Washington's foreign policy objectives,” said Robinson.

Lawrence Wilkerson, the former Chief of Staff to former Secretary of State Colin Powell said, “We do this through surrogates and nongovernmental organization and through people who are less suspecting of the evil that may lurk behind their actions than perhaps they were before. Have we learned some lessons in that regard? You bet! Do we do it better? You bet? Is it still just as heinous as it has always been? You bet!”

So while the goal remains the same, it’s no longer the CIA but the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and its partners spearheading the effort.
Allen Weintein, one of the founders of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) explained to the Washington Post in 1991, "A lot of what we do now was done covertly by the CIA 25 years ago.”
And like the CIA, USAID, the National Endowment for Democracy and a number of similar organizations receive funding from Congress.
“Millions and millions of U.S. tax payer dollars go every year into funding for political organizations and campaigns in different countries in the world that promote US agenda. Most U.S. citizens are unaware of the fact that that is how their money is being spent, to meddle, and to influence and to interfere in other nation’s affairs,” said Eva Golinger who has been investigating the US’s democracy promotion efforts in Venezuela.
The concept of facilitating regime change through democracy promotion has garnered wide criticism not just abroad but also at home in the United States. 
Congressman Ron Paul once wrote "It is particularly Orwellian to call US manipulation of foreign elections 'promoting democracy.' How would we Americans feel if for example the Chinese arrived with millions of dollars to support certain candidates deemed friendly to China?" 
“I think it’s terrible, we use taxpayer’s money to go over and use our military and the CIA these programs that say ‘this is what you outta do’ and influence them. There is no authority for that, it doesn’t work, it teaches a lot of people to despise us,” Congressman Paul told RT.

Democracy, US-style, doesn't come cheap. Most of the money flows to forces in line with US interests. Washington has spent a far amount of money spread democracy worldwide. 
“We’re talking here about hundreds of millions of dollars, and over the years since this policy was consolidated, we’re talking about billions. The State Department will have an appropriation of several billion dollars for what it called the Office of Transition Initiatives. The Congress will have an appropriation hundreds of millions of dollars for the National Endowment for Democracy, USAID will have its own budget as well,” said Robinson. 
Over the past two decades, USAID has spent 9 billion dollars promoting Washington’s democracy initiatives. 
The National Endowment for Democracy (NED) received $132 million dollars during 2009; nearly all of the money came from U.S. government agencies. 
However, USAID and NED are not the only ones. There is an entire network of organizations involved in the democracy promotion business such as the National Democratic Institute (NDI), the International Republican Institute (IRI), and the American Center for International Labor, the Center for International Private Enterprise and Freedom House.
But these are just the tip of the iceberg. There’s an entire network of organizations involved in the democracy promotion business. 
Although all the organizations insist there is no political affiliation, the board of directors for both NDI and IRI suggest otherwise.
Both boards consist of former Secretaries of State, national security advisers, members of Congress, and even Clinton, Bush and Reagan administration officials.
They all have a history in Washington. One deeply rooted in sustaining the current foreign policy priorities.
Blum said, “to understand US foreign policy, one must understand a very basic fact; the US government wants to dominate the world."
He insists the soft money working behind scenes is directly linked to the CIA.
“They had to have a new organization with a nice sounding name, with the word democracy, which would be free of the taint of the CIA, and that’s why the NED was created,” Blum added.

In a repeat of last summer's protests, yellow-shirted mobs calling themselves "Bersih" have taken once again to the streets in Malaysia demanding "clean elections." Their tactics and demands mirror similar movements that have come out into the streets in Russia and across the Middle East, and just like in Russia and across the Middle East, they are entirely funded, directed by, and working for the interests of Wall Street and London. 

Bersih is indisputably serving as a political vehicle for Anwar Ibrahim and Malaysia's opposition front "Pakatan Rakyat," to return to power. That Anwar Ibrahim himself was Chairman of the Development Committee of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) in 1998, held lecturing positions at the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University, was a consultant to the World Bank, and a panelist at the Neo-Con lined National Endowment for Democracy's "Democracy Award" and a panelist at a NED donation ceremony - the very same US organization whose subsidiaries are funding and supporting Bersih - casts irrefutable doubt on their official agenda for "clean and fair elections." 
Claims by Bersih members that Anwar Ibrahim is "hijacking" their movement ring especially hollow when looking at both his and Bersih's entwined foreign financial and political backers.

In Libya, promises of a democratic utopia have been lost amidst perpetual infighting, genocidal death squads roving the country committing widespread atrocities, entire regions of Libya peeling away from the government based in Tripoli, which itself is nothing more than a Western client regime. Led by long-time US resident Abdurrahim el-Keib, formally of the Petroleum Institute, sponsored by British Petroleum (BP), Shell, France's Total, the Japan Oil Development Company, and the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, it has done nothing to restore order or to preserve Libya's territorial integrity, and has instead spent its time brokering deals to sell Libya's once nationalized resources to foreign contractors. 
Clearly it is not "democracy" that the US through its National Endowment for Democracy and criminal Wall Street speculator George Soros' Open Society are spreading - but rather corporate-financier hegemony by destabilizing nationalist regimes and replacing them with client proxies. The recent wave of "pro-democracy" uprisings worldwide are a carefully orchestrated geopolitical gambit - neo-imperialism through 4th generation warfare. 
That the leaders of Bersih are demonstratively recipients of both the US State Department's National Endowment for Democracy and Soros' Open Society, and with opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim being a functionary of the IMF, it is certain that no matter how genuine Bershi's rank and file may be, the fruits of their efforts will be the destabilization and neo-recolonization of of their nation - a nation that has fought long and hard to work its way out from under Western imperialism in the past. According to this site:

A tiny handful of Marxists, dupes, and shills converged in Bangkok today in what would seem like nothing more than a footnote in the day's news. In reality, it was actually the surfacing fin of a shark prowling the political waters of Southeast Asia. 
While Bangkok certainly has enough foreign-funded troubles of its own, the protest was actually held at the Malaysian Embassy regarding "political prisoners" the Malaysian government is allegedly holding. What was particularly telling was the tiny, very familiar, clenched fist logo adorning the protesters' clothing and banners.
The US National Endowment for Democracy (NED)-funded Prachatai propaganda outfit dutifully reported in their article, "Solidarity protest for clean and fair elections and immediate release of Bersih activists," that on July 1, "students, activists and press gathered outside the Malaysian Embassy, Bangkok, in response to the Malaysian Government’s arrest of more than a hundred members of the coalition network Bersih 2.0 consisting of various Malaysian human rights organizations campaigning for reforms in the electoral system." Joining the protest, according to the Bangkok Post, was the People's Empowerment Foundation, another National Endowment for Democracy-funded front group. 

The time has come  for Malaysians to reassess their perspective of Bersih. Nile Bowie states it succinctly:

...some see talk of “foreign plots” as tired rhetoric, while others fail to grasp the deeper machinations of foreign influence and do little more than finger pointing at political opponents. In this instance, the pages of a leaked US military document provide valuable insight into the nature of “foreign plots” potentially aimed against Malaysia.
“TC 18-01 SPECIAL FORCES UNCONVENTIONAL WARFARE” is listed on the US Army’s official website and can only be accessed by authorized officials within the American government (a leaked copy has been made available and can be viewed by clicking here). 
The document is significant because it provides a step-by-step definition of Washington’s “irregular warfare” and unconventional warfare tactics. The manual illustrates the sheer impunity with which the United States conducts its foreign policy, aimed at illegally interfering into the political affairs of foreign nations with an aim to destabilize and reorder them to further American economic interests; Dr. Christof Lehmann describes the manual as:
“…a step by step guide of how to create, manipulate, co-opt and make use of a countries population, persons of special interest inside the country as well as expatriates, organizations inside as well as outside the country, towards a subversion. Beginning with manipulating dissent into demonstrations, the polarization of a population, riots and armed insurgencies that require action by security forces, and psychological warfare by means of media, step by step, in logical sequence, towards a full scale war, based on humanitarian principles and the pretext of bringing democracy and freedom.” CLICK HERE for more.

The old adage says "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results".

Well, this holds true for Bersih.



After the various protests, and nothing has changed. Bersih is at it again.

Stop and think.

Is it all that noble, pure and true?

BERSIH Chairperson Maria Chin Abdullah, denied yesterday (pic) that they are being funded by NED - only by the NDI and the OSI.



The NED, the overt arm of the CIA, is widely suspected of "regime change" activities and protecting USA interests overseas - hence the virulent denial by BERSIH that it is NED funded.

Who wants to be accused of receiving funds from a group known to subvert democracy and cause (many times, violent) regime change, right?

Ukraine, China and all the Arab Spring countries can tell you all about the NED, And why Russia also bands them.

Unfortunately, what BERSIH did not tell you is that the funds from NDI comes from the NED!

NED itself says on their own website that it has a "special relationship with four core U.S. grantees that represent the building blocks of a democratic society" - one of it is the "NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC INSTITUTE FOR INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS (NDI)"

"Each of these four grantees receives an equal portion of NED’s grant budget – and each program is carefully developed with NED program staff and approved by NED’s board of directors, just like any other grantee.".

This means that 25% of NED's annual grant budget given by the USA govt is given to the NDI, which then funds BERSIH. Thus BERSIH is indeed funded by the NED.

(as a sidenote, the NED also funds political parties in Malaysia - which could be the reason why these parties do not want to reveal their funders and objected to PM Najib's earlier push to reform election funding in Malaysia)

As for the OSI (Open Society Institute) mentioned by BERSIH, it is now known as the Open Society Foundation (OSF). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_Society_Foundations

It was founded by George Soros in 1993 and was reported to have spent USD11 billion (RM41b) so far on the same goals as NED.

(George Soros' foundations also owns 29% of MalaysiaKini, which MalaysiaKini was forced to admit in their own statement on their own website)

In fact, both NED and OSI are closely linked and typically works together. There is much information and proof about their close collaboration.

George Soros was the person who attacked Malaysia's economy in 1997-1998 and famously said to Tun M to "See you at 5" - meaning he was going to attack us until the Ringgit is 1USD = RM5.

Therefore, BERSIH is funded by the overt arm of the CIA for regime change and the person who has attacked Malaysia's economy and profited from it.

Don't be naive! These people fund you because you are doing exactly what they want you to do. They don't just throw money around for no reason.

Two days ago, BERSIH had said it will hold simultaneous BERSIH 4.0 overnight rallies in Kuala Lumpur, Sabah and Sarawak on 29-30 August 2015.

Word is that they target 1 million protesters.



Ex-BERSIH chairperson Ambiga had also threatened Malaysia two days ago that we must "form a temporary non-partisan govt NOW or face Sri-Lanka style street protests." via BERSIH 4.0.

If threatening us to dissolve our current govt and form a new temporary govt is not considered as regime change, then I don't know what is - and this aim is consistent with BERSIH's own admitted funder, the NDI and OSI and in default, the NED.

This threat is why Ambiga is now being investigated by PDRM under Section 124 of the Penal Code for activities detrimental to parliamentary democracy (aka toppling govt) and her statement was recorded yesterday.

This could also be the reason why PM Najib, when addressing the Haj Pilgrims who was sponsored by 1MDB, said this yesterday:

"Please pray the country is safe, pray for the leaders, where the people would determine who would be in government and who would fall, not outsiders or foreigners,"

If you may like or dislike Najib but our democracy and our sovereign rights should not be determined by foreign agents and foreign nations who fund traitors in our midst.

We make our own changes at the ballot boxes based on our own democracy - either at party elections or the general elections.

Not streets protests that could degenerate into chaos and cause more harm to our economy

This could happen again and has happened before at BERSIH rallies

We don't need incidents like that right now  - especially since our regional neighbours are also experiencing intense economic pressures at this very moment.

The Economic realities from our neighbours.
- Thailand cuts 2015 GDP forecast, for 3rd time this year, to 3 %, exports will fall.
- World Bank Drastically Cuts Indonesia’s 2015 Economic Growth Forecast.
- Singapore GDP at negative 4.6% in Q2, worse than forecast.
- Philippine q/q growth slowest in 6 years (Q1)
- Brunei exports falls 32% in Q1 2015. May enter third year of negative GDP growth 2013 (-2.1%) and 2014 (-2.3%).
(yang di atas semua dah bertahun-tahun ada GST. Yang takde GST itu yang lebih parah. Brunei sudah dua tahun negatif. Tahun ini also pretty sure Brunei get another negative GDP).
Even Korea, the land of Samsung and K-Pop is struggling - partly due to MERS which has thankfully spared Malaysia so far.
- Korea's 2015 per-capita GDP is expected to drop for the first time in six years.
And Taiwan also reported yesterday that their economy grew at the slowest pace in 3 years

We don't need more chaos which adds more pressure, instability and uncertainty on Malaysia's economy.

Being led by these people and supporting their foreign-funded moves is as good as supporting treason.

Spread the word on this.

Malaysians determine our own destiny.

Not "them"
